St. Augustine's

Paid a visit to the Soup Kitchen at St. Augustine's Catholic Church on Dominion Street today to talk to people about the issues. The kitchen serves over 150 people every day, and that's only for one meal.

Poverty, hunger and affordable housing are major issues in this riding, no matter how much growth and prosperity others will claim in our community.

I also stopped back in the kitchen to thank some of the volunteers for their selfless efforts in serving their community. You'll not meet a nicer group of people.

All of the area Soup Kitchens and Food Banks need support from you. Please consider donating your time and/or money to the one nearest you. It's your community you're helping.
